Cartoon in the Works?

Hello viewers.
Today's post (long overdue) is a drawing of a character that I came up with. She doesn't have a name yet or anything. This picture is not complete but as usual I'd like you guys to see what stage I'm at. Enjoy.

Hello viewers!
I finally completed my pencil drawing of Courtney Cox. I hope you guys like it. I would have finished it yesterday but I had other things to take care of. Feel free to comment and let me know which other celebrity/well known person you'd like me to draw. (You can leave a comment in the "Comment" section below this post).

Another Head drawing

Not a real person. I did this one today.
What I used:

  • Sketchpad.
  • HB, 4B and 6B pencils.
  • Gum eraser.
  • Factis technik eraser.
  • A rolled notebook page to aid in smudging.
  • My finger... It's fun to smudge with your finger. Just remember to wash your hands before you touch anything white!

Drawing Practice: The Human Head

I haven't done one of these studies in a really, really long time. Last night's study was done to help me improve on drawing the human head at different angles. Using an old sketchpad that I resurrected, I sketched a few cuboids at different angles and then used the shapes to guide my drawing of the head, insuring more accurate proportions. Now, considering that I was half asleep when I did this, I'd say I did a pretty good job.
Feel free to leave comments below this post, letting me know what you think.
Have a good day,
Wai Li.

What I used:

  • A regular HB pencil
  • Factis technik eraser

    Paint Tools

    Hey everyone,
Sorry for the delay in posting. Today I am showing you guys some of the new oil painting tools that I got while in New York. They're brand new so I figured I should take some pictures before I actually put them to use.
If you guys are interested in oil painting, perhaps you should try these as well.
Click The images for closeup shots where you can read the brand and brush number.
    Have a good day,
    Wai Li.
